I see parents every day in my place of work and I continue to be surprised. I remember Play in the Mudbeing amazed at the changes in parents at the schools my own children attended as well as the parents of the college students where I was employed over the years. And, today I was reminded of something my Mom always told me. Children are NOT PERFECT.

Brené Brown reminds us that our children are “…imperfect and wired for struggle. But, …are worthy of love and belonging.”

Now that is profound information for parents today.
